We're now accepting submissions for the 2011 New American Fiction Prize. Winner receives $1000 and a publication contract, including 25 complimentary copies and 15 percent royalties. Final judge will be the Whiting Award-winning writer and essayist Benjamin Percy, author of the collections The Language of Elk and Refresh, Refresh, as well as the novel The Wilding. His work has appeared in The Iowa Review, Tin House, Esquire, Ploughshares, Ecotone, Glimmer Train, Outside, Slate, as well as other major journals and magazines.
Please submit 100-500 pages of your best fiction to:

Your submission may consist of stories, novellas, stories and novellas, a novel, or any exciting and innovative interpretation of these forms.
We read manuscripts blind, so please include a separate cover sheet with your name, address, email, and phone number, being sure to exclude any identifying information from the manuscript itself.
Please include a check or money order payable to "NEW AMERICAN PRESS" in the amount of $20 for each submission and a SASE for contest results. Multiple and simultaneous submissions encouraged, but please notify us immediately if your manuscript is accepted elsewhere.
