There must be nothing on the manuscript to identify the entrant. This does NOT include the title. You can use less but not more.\n\nEntries for the current competition close at midnight (GMT) on 29th February 2012\n\nA short-list will be published on this site three weeks after the closing date. The final results will be available within six weeks of the closing date. If you have any queries regarding the rules please Contact Us.\n\nThe judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.\n\nEntry Fee\n\n£5 for one entry\n\n£8 for two entries.\n\nPrizes\n\n1st £ 300\n\n2nd £ 100\n\n3rd £ 50\n\n\nThe Judge\n\nWe are delighted Lucy Floyd has agreed to judge our inaugural competition.\n\nEleven of Lucy’s novels, which include Yesterday and Baptism of Fire, were published before she turned to writing screenplays for film and TV. She remains a regular contributor of short stories and serials for magazines around the world. Her work has been translated into thirteen languages.\n\nLucy says,\n\n“I'll be looking for a good story with an uncontrived ending, and for tight, economic use of language which makes every word earn its keep. The entry can be in any genre, it's the way it's written that counts.”\n\nPlease note this is NOT the Lucy Floyd who writes for children.\n\nhttp://www.multi-story.co.uk/
