Stories that communicate truths or lessons-learned that transcend the life of the subject or the author. While the stories themselves may be very personal, they should communicate something of relevance to the reader; a connection to a larger community, society or culture that gives the story meaning. Submissions, which are accepted electronically, should be between 3000 - 5000 words

Multiple and simultaneous submissions are accepted.
Prizes are awarded four times year, and the next submission deadline is March 31, 2013. Winners will be announced by April 30.
$500 is awarded to the winning submission.
The entry fee is $18 per submission.
