Using the photo for inspiration, you have just 250 words or less (not including the title) to weave a story around the pocket watch.

Be as creative as you like but remember that you have a very restricted word count and therefore, each and every word must be important and aid the story.

Stories must be original and previously unpublished.

This competition is open to writers worldwide and entrants must be 18 years or older to win a cash prize.

All entries must be received on or before the closing date.

We prefer to receive submissions by email info@creative-competitor.co.uk and please mark the name of the competition in the subject line.
